1964 marked the year when The Beatles captivated America, kicking off Beatlemania with a series of albums and singles that topped the U.S. charts and sold millions. However, these U.S. albums are not mere copies of their UK counterparts. Capitol Records and United Artists compiled these albums specifically for the U.S. market between January 1964 and March 1965, creating unique versions of The Beatles' catalog.

This 8LP box set celebrates the year that Beatlemania exploded in the U.S., bringing together seven iconic albums with faithfully replicated artwork and new four-panel inserts featuring essays by American Beatles historian Bruce Spizer. The set includes Meet The Beatles!, The Beatles’ Second Album, A Hard Day’s Night (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Something New, Beatles ’65, The Early Beatles, and The Beatles' Story (2LP), exclusive to this set. Lacquers were cut by Kevin Reeves at East Iris Studios, staying true to the original vinyl first pressings, yet revealing even more musical detail. Pressed on 180g audiophile vinyl.
