"66" delves into reflective and inward thinking, exploring how Weller's creativity interacts with the wider world. With 12 songs worked up over three years in Weller's Black Barn studio, the album features guest musicians and lyrical contributions from esteemed artists like Suggs, Noel Gallagher, and Bobby Gillespie.

Collaborations with Erland Cooper, White Label, and string arrangements by Hannah Peel enrich the album's tapestry. The first track, "Soul Wondering," introduces a chunky percussive groove, while the single "Rise Up Singing," set for release on April 5th, encapsulates the album's sunburst of soul and spirituality.
