Acclaimed indie artist Mac DeMarco returns with Guitar — his first full studio album since 2019’s Here Comes The Cowboy.

Following his ambitious 199-track archival release One Wayne G and the instrumental travelogue Five Easy Hot Dogs, Guitar finds Mac embracing his signature laid-back style while exploring fresh creative territory.

Written, performed, and recorded entirely by Mac over just 12 days in November 2024 at his Los Angeles home studio, Guitar offers an intimate snapshot of where the artist stands today. As Mac himself explains:

“I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper.”
