IDLES - TANGK - Splatter Vinyl

IDLES' latest album, "TANGK," is an extraordinary release presented exclusively as a double LP, splatter 12", and heart-shaped 10". Housed in a gatefold sleeve, this edition is limited to 2,000 copies, each hand-numbered for added exclusivity.

"TANGK" marks IDLES' fifth album, and it stands out as their most ambitious and striking work to date. The title, pronounced "tank" with a hint of the "g," is an onomatopoeic reference to the lashing sound the band imagined their guitars making. This concept has grown into a symbol for living in love.

Co-produced by Nigel Godrich, Kenny Beats, and IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, the album exudes a radical sense of defiant empowerment. Known for their incendiary post-punk style, frontman Joe Talbot sings with a hard-earned soul on TANGK, delivering vows of love and pleas for solidarity as genuine pop songs. The album represents a departure from their earlier confrontational approach, offering a collection of communal anthems designed to help overcome grievances.
