Crowded House is a longstanding and beloved musical project driven by the song writing talents of Neil Finn. Originating in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985, after the disbandment of New Zealand's Split Enz, the trio of Neil Finn, Paul Hester, and Nick Seymour formed Crowded House. Their self-titled debut album, released on Capitol Records in 1986, achieved global success with hits like "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." These songs, among others, continue to resonate with audiences, with "Don't Dream It's Over" becoming one of the most covered songs in the last two decades.

The band's initial phase lasted from 1985 to 1995, during which they released four studio albums and gained widespread acclaim for their engaging live performances. In 1996, they bid farewell with a legendary show on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in front of 150,000 people.

After the tragic death of Paul Hester in 2005, Neil and Nick, driven by emotional compulsion, decided to revive Crowded House. With the addition of new drummer Matt Sherrod and long time touring member Mark Hart, they released the album "Time On Earth" in 2007, followed by "Intriguer" in 2009. The band was inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame in 2016, coinciding with a reprisal of their farewell shows at the Sydney Opera House.

With over 12 million albums sold across six studio albums, two acclaimed Best of collections, and Neil Finn's successful stint with Fleetwood Mac, Crowded House, inspired by a new generation connecting with their music, embarked on a new chapter. Their seventh studio album, "Dreamers Are Waiting," was recorded in LA and features a multi-coloured vinyl release.
