In October 1973, Bob Marley and the Wailers delivered an intimate performance at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. While they played and recorded twelve classic songs, producer Denny Cordell captured the event on camera from the side lines. The footage remained unseen for decades and was thought lost until a freelance researcher, tasked with archiving all things Marley, discovered a few frames. The journey to locate more of the film led him through storage units and record company archives from New York and London to San Diego. Finally, enough fragments were assembled, and now, after painstaking restoration and editing, the Capitol Session '73 is ready for release. It is set to become arguably the finest audio-visual recording of Bob Marley and the Wailers in existence.
